About The Event
Instructor: Anne Caissie aka the 3am knitter
During this workshop participants will learn/practice simple weaving techniques along with fun & exciting warp manipulation to transform their flat weaving into a small 3-dimensional bowl that is perfect for holding notions such as stitch markers or progress keepers.
Techniques covered in the workshop:
-simple lark's head warping
-tabby weave
-warp manipulation
-embellishment of bowl
This workshop is suitable for beginners to more experienced weavers
Material fee of $50 is payable to Anne on day of workshop.
It includes: loom, warp & weft for the project and an embellishment pack
If you can, please bring extra scissors & darning needles. Some will be available at the workshop.
Please note workshops are kept small to make the most of your day. If you need to cancel, your workshop fee is non refundable but you can transfer your registration to someone else.
