Lismore Sheep Farm - The Shop and Barn will be open, 10am to 4pm

Lismore Sheep Farm invites all fibre fanatics  to tour the visitor barn and pat the friendly lambs. Touch and feel the lovely wool that gets made into yarn. No charge for admission.

Watch and chat with a weaver, spinner, knitter, felter, and hooker as they work their craft, while viewing the beautiful pieces of The Sisterhood Fibre Art Show.

SATURDAY, SEPT 23 - THE BIG DAY!!!

Admission: Purchase Advance Tickets - $6 +tax (available online until Sept 8 at 11pm)

Tickets will also be available to purchase at the door for $7.

Take a break and listen to your favourite East Coast Fibre Folk talk about Angora Rabbits, hand dyeing yarn with plant and animal fibres, hooking with pantyhose, indigo dyeing, the age-old art of rug twining and drop spindling. YAHOO!!

Sisterhood Circle - 10am to 4pm
The heart of the Fibre Village & Market – the Sisterhood Circle! Drop by and share the love. Test drive a loom, pull out your knitting, bring your wheel and sit a spell. Like we always say... "come for the fibre, stay for the friends!"

 

FIBRE VILLAGE FOOD

The WoolstockEAST Café will be upstairs (there’ll be a dedicated elevator jockey to get you up there). You’ll get to the food trucks through a door toward the back of the rec centre  - look for the sign. There’ll be lots of seating upstairs and down for you to sit, enjoy your food and sort through your treasures.
