Create delightful hooked pieces from Tshirts - WoolstockEAST Workshop

This class goes back to the roots of rug hooking.  

You will draw your own design and hook it with your used Tshirts.  The key words of REUSE and RECYCLE will be in full practice with this piece.

The backing will be provided for a 14” chairpad.

The design is up to you but Beverly will suggest a design without fine details.  Check out the pictured design or you could go with stripes, circles, squares or an abstract design.  Any of these would be great!

Your backing will be provided but you need to bring your own Tshirts.  We will be using the backs of the tees to hook your project so bring one tee of each colour you plan to use in your design.  The tee shirts should be laundered before we start.   Please do not use scented fabric softener or strong smelling clothes detergent on your tees.  

If you have a cutter with a size #8 or larger, or a cutting pad and rotary cutter please bring them to class.  The tees can be cut by hand as well.  Also bring your rug hooking equipment – frame/hoop, hook, scissors, glasses, ruler, anything else that will make rug hooking more enjoyable for you.
