About The Event
Macrame is a decorative knotting craft that anyone can do with just a little bit of practice! It’s is a great way to create beautiful and functional pieces of art to decorate your home with vintage flair.
In this workshop, Janessa will work with you to make a the 'summit' plant hanger. You will learn the gathering knot, square knot and a spiral stitch.
Janessa loves working with 100% recycled cotton rope as it is very soft and has subtle flecks of colour in it. From far away it looks like a beautiful muted tone, with a closer look you spot the vibrant colours.
You will make the ‘summit’ plant hanger in one of the three most popular colours - natural, spice or sage. (hanger in pictures is shown in spice)
All of the supplies needed to make the plant hanger are included with registration.
The plant hangers are 44” without a pot in it. The length of the plant hanger shortens up a bit when a pot is placed in it. The plant hangers fit a 6-8” pot most comfortably.
