Hand-dyed Nuno Felted Wrap - WoolstockEAST Workshop

Thursday:  1 to 4:30

Friday:  10 to 3:30 (with a break for lunch)

This two-part workshop will guide students through the preparation and dyeing of fine silk fabric on day one.  The following day will involve skill sharing around layout, design and the magical shift from fibre to fabric.  Nuno felting creates a lustrous, light and highly textured fabric that is sure to elevate your wardrobe.  Dyeing techniques learned in class will be easily transferable to your home studio.

Elise creates a welcoming and playful atmosphere where participants are encouraged to explore felting without fear.  Experience with wet felting is beneficial, though not necessary.

Please note there is a $45 material fee to be given to Elise at the beginning of the workshop.
