About The Event
Instructor: Bevery Levine
Yarn is becoming popular in the rug hooking field. It's versatile, readily available and the colour range is limitless.
In this workshop, you'll get the “feel” of hooking with yarn and the opportunity to play with yarn. You'll learn how to blend two, three or more fibres together for a different look.
You will be working on an 8”x 8” piece. All the materials you'll need to complete the piece will be included in your class kit. There will be a few different patterns to choose from.
Please bring:
- a hoop or frame that will accommodate a 12”x 12” piece of linen backing
- your regular hooking tools, hook, scissors or anything you usually use.
- If you are a knitter and have an assortment of those little 1”-2” balls of ends of yarn, feel free to bring some of those along as well.
There will be an hour for lunch so bring a brown bag or visit one of the lunch places near by.
IMPORTANT: This workshop is on the 2nd floor and there are stairs. (but they are gentle)
Please note workshops are kept small to make the most of your day. If you need to cancel, your workshop fee is non refundable but you can transfer your registration to someone else. If we have a wait list and someone can take your place, you will receive a refund less a $10 processing fee.
