Intro to Indigo and Shibori - WoolstockEAST Workshop
Make a gorgeous bandana and learn the basics of shibori and indigo dyeing with Tzigane. No experience necessary, beginners are celebrated!

About The Event
Join Tzigane Caddell and learn the fundamentals of shibori resists and indigo dyeing. You will use stitching and binding techniques on an organic cotton bandana and 1 yd of cotton fabric, which you will then dye in an organic indigo vat.
There will be several pattern choices for your bandana.
Please bring an apron, gloves and mask for dyeing and a plastic bag for wet pieces.
Instruction and cost of the Indigo Vat is included in the registration fee.
Please bring $35 fibre fee to be paid directly to Tzigane on workshop day.
There is a break for lunch so please bring one.
Extra fibres, for dyeing, will be available for purchase:
Organic Cotton Scarf - $35 ea.
Organic Cotton Bandana - $10 ea.
