Intro to Rug Hooking

Beverly will introduce you to the art of rug hooking while making this hand hooked flower on linen. 

Along with learning how to hook, additional information will be provided such as where to purchase supplies, the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia, the North American Rug Hooking Museum, Rug Hooking Magazine, the annual Nova Scotia rug hooking school and rug hooking groups in your area. ​ 

Handouts will be provided covering basic rug hooking instructions, shops for rug hooking supplies and instructions on how to finish your piece. ​ 

All materials provided including linen, hand dyed wool, an embroidery hoop and a rug hook to take home. ​ No experience necessary.
