About The Event
Instructor: Doris-Ann Savoie, Savoie Baskets
Students will learn to weave a basket from start to finish while learning the proper techniques and finishing touches. We will be using rattan reed for the weaving material.
In this class, you will be making a smaller market style basket with a wood D-handle similar to the one in the picture above.
No experience necessary. You will go home with a beauty of a basket.
Additional fee of $52 for kit. Payable to Doris-Ann on day of workshop.
Please bring bagged lunch & beverage.
