In this one-day rug hooking class, participants will create a striking dimensional jellyfish that looks—and feels—alive. Using a combination of traditional rug hooking and playful fibre choices, you’ll explore how to create depth, movement, and texture using varied loop heights, directional hooking, chunky cuts, skinny cuts, and specialty yarns.

While the jellyfish itself is a showstopper, the true focus of this class is the border. You’ll explore creative approaches to designing and hooking a border that doesn’t just frame the piece, but elevates it, transforming your rug into a finished work of fibre art.
