About The Event
Come and meet East Coast Fibre Folk - Emma Doucette, founder and owner of Botanical Fibres
About Emma
A lover of fibre since birth. The combination of growing up with craft, then having her hobbies nurtured into passions at NSCAD Universty (BFA 2014), and her dislike of the throwaway culture of the textile industry have all led her to this exciting venture.
About Botanical Fibres
The earth is full of so much beauty, why pollute it with chemical dyes when you can extract brilliant colours naturally. Est. 2017, Botanical Fibres strives to keep high standards in quality and originality without sacrificing our underlying environmental integrity.
Drop by the Sisterhood today and chat with Emma about dyeing, knitting and all things fibre.
And yes, she will have an array of her gorgeous yarns and kits available for you to purchase.
Please bring (and wear) your mask.
You are welcome to come to Wooly Hill for the afternoon and hang out.
Bring your current project and join a few Sisters in the screen room to chat and enjoy the view.
