About The Event
Mosaic knitting looks intricate but is the simplest method to do colorwork. Unlike Intersia or Fair isle, you never have to worry about your floats.
This technique was developed back in the 60's by Barbara Walker and has gained immense popularity in the past few years.
In this workshop, you will learn to read a mosaic chart (written instructions will be provided) and you'll make a small swatch that you can later use as a coaster.
Materials included:
2 skeins of contrasting colour Muskat by Drops.
50g - 100m, 100% mercerized cotton.
Printed pattern and instruction.
You need to bring: 4.00mm DPN, straight or circular needles (the swatch is very small so any style would work)
Please note workshops are kept small to make the most of your day. If you need to cancel, your workshop fee is non refundable but you can transfer your registration to someone else.
