Pickup Sticks 101 - WoolstockEAST Workshop

Learn to weave a waffle weave scarf using pick up sticks.

 In addition, you will get a refresher, as well as receive tips, to tie on, begin your project and hemstitch.

You will learn how to mix plain weave and pick up in the same pick and hemstitch from the left or right.     You will also learn to deal with some of the most common problems: selvedges, loose warp ends and whatever else may come up as we weave.

 Please note that students will complete their projects at home.

You  will need to be able to warp your loom before class. Ideally you will have woven a minimum of 3-4 projects independently.   Required material and equipment list provided upon registration.
