About The Event
This is geared to 2 specific groups of people:
1. Those who are coming back to weaving after a hiatus. Students will remember the basics but might need a little extra help and encouragement to get going again;
2. Those who are regular weavers and are looking for tips to make their weaving life easier, more efficient and improve skills. This is perfect for people who have taken a beginner class and woven a few projects then realized they would benefit from another class but don’t need a beginner class, or self-taught weavers.
Students will warp a scarf using 2 skeins of Noro Silk Garden Sock, wind, tie on and begin weaving. During each step Tammy will have tips to make things easier and ensure things go smoothly as well as answering questions as they come up. We will cover anything that might come up in weaving…neat selvedges, tension, broken…
