Saltwater Mittens - WoolstockEAST workshop

Donna has been knitting for many years. Mittens have always been a favourite project for her.

Donna started double knitting about 10 years ago using both hands, so when the Saltwater books came along, she jumped right in with both hands.

Donna is going to unlock the mystery of two handed colour work knitting by teaching:

- techniques for knitting the Saltwater Projects.

- stranding/colourwork

- yarn positioning

- carrying floats

- reading the Saltwater patterns

Please note:  This is a 9 hour workshop.  3 hours a day for 3 days.  9am to 12pm Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

Students should be able to knit in the round and have experience knitting with double pointed needles.

Please bring basic knitting supplies plus yarn & needles needed for your project.
