About The Event
For those of us who love to knit, extending the life of a well-loved sock or other knitted item is an indispensable tool in the toolbelt.
In this workshop we’ll learn and practice different darning and repair techniques for socks and other knitwear.
Swatches will be provided to practice on, but please feel free to bring a knitwear item that needs repair.
You will need the following: a small crochet hook (between 2 and 3.5mm), a variety of large and small/blunt and sharp darning needles, and small amounts of scrap yarn (sock or DK weight). Optional: split ring stitch markers, darning egg.
No experience necessary.
