Curious about spinning, but aren’t ready to splurge on a spinning wheel?

Maybe you only need small amounts of yarn for rug hooking, or want spinning to be more portable.

This introduction to the art of spinning will teach you the basics of how to make yarn using a drop spindle.

In this workshop participants will be spinning a single ply yarn, and will learn about spinning vocabulary and the properties of wool.  Participants will also receive an overview of how to ply, and how to wet finish their yarns.

**Please note workshops are kept small to make the most of your day.
