About The Event

In this class, you’ll dive deep into your stash yarn collection, learning how to creatively sort and pair yarns of different colours and textures. Tammy will guide you through selecting the right reed and warping your loom in ways that break traditional rules — resulting in a scarf that’s as unique and beautiful as the materials you use.

No experience with complex patterns is necessary. The focus here is on creativity, spontaneity, and celebrating the wabi-sabi philosophy of finding beauty in the imperfect and the unexpected, though students should be comfortable warping independently.

What to Bring:

  • Your stash yarn (all those odds and ends you’ve been holding onto!)

  • Rigid heddle loom and stand (stand is optional but recommended)
