Wet Felt and Mounting Workshop - a WoolstockEAST workshop

Often in workshops we create a lovely piece, but aren't taught a nice way to display it. Join Elise Campbell in this Mounting Your Work class and learn how she creates the internal structure, foundation, and mount to display her felted mushrooms. If you are interested in exhibiting, selling, or showcasing your work in an elevated way, displaying it beautifully is imperative.

This workshop pairs perfectly with the Felted Fungi class, but confident needle felters can take it on its own.

Students will use high quality materials to wet felt a forest floor, creating their own handmade fabric. You will learn how to place and secure your sculpture and fabric to a base, creating a lovely display and learning skills that you can return to time and again.
